Alternative Energy Norway: Funding for Wave Power

Great site. I am a big fan of alternative energy. Although, I am also a big free manket guy. Have you by any chance looked into the Turkey Power as a realistic alternative. I am not saying it is realistic. But, It looks like it may be.

From Ireland: Congratulations Norway on pushing ahead with ocean wave energy! Wish Ireland could be as progressive! Am trying to find out the most up to date information on ocean wave energy and happened on this site. Roll on wave energy. Roll on out outdated fossil fuel energy resources!! Slainte!

I am actively involved with ocean wave energy research in the US, but there is essentially NO government support for this kind of work. It seems kind of ridiculous that an economy as large as the US doesn't even have a few million dollars for R&D in ocean energy conversion. A few years ago it looked like England and Ireland were going to aggressively get behind it. I don't know why they changed their minds. Maybe everyone thinks it's just too far off and too expensive to pursue right now.
